The CRT, Centre de Recherche de Trappes, has for more than thirty years been a center of excellence specialized in the extraction, the transformation and the use of the non-ferrous metals (nickel, manganese, zinc, lead, germanium, indium, gallium) as well as special steels and alloys.

It also applies its competences in the field of the environmental protection.

Today, the CRT is a subsidiary company at 100% of the Eramet group.

The setting on the same site of the subsidiary company of engineering of the group Eramet (TEC Ingénierie) forms a scientific, technical and technological pole capable to carry out industrial projects, from their definition to their effective startup.

With a wealth of accumulated experience, the CRT is equipped with powerful tools from the laboratory scale until that of the semi-industrial pilot plant. It leans on a proven working method as well as means of calculation, analysis and characterization increasingly more sophisticated.
